Duh!!!

How much of an @#Q$$#& can I be? My s-video out has the seven pin configuration. Ive been trying to use a four pin s-video cable. Ive got a seven pin on order and will let everyone know how foolish I was when it works...

you can get a 7 pin s-video cable to rca from www.svideo.com and you can get it from 3ft to 6ft...

Thanks Jim... I knew I could count on you to make me feel better...

I did order from svideo.com As of today, my order is on the way and should be here by Monday... Thats a good thing cause I have two shows to do next weekend. The good thing is that I know I can rely on my vga to work until I get a good fix...

Im the new guy so tips are appreciated... I mean words of wisdom and ideas how to be better at what I attempting to do.

You guys rock!

Well, it would apear that my s video out is bad. thats the only conclusion I come to. I got my new cables and they produced the same results... Looks like I have to go with my vga out for now.

So the next question is.... what laptop do I get?$?$?$

I picked a bad week to stop sniffin glue!!! (joke)

AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!! Sorry. Just venting.

you can get a pc to tv converter (not to be confused with tv to pc converter ) this has a vga to rca/s-video out..you can get it form www.eitech.com , you can connect your laptops vga ( out )to the vga (in ) of the converter and use either the rca or the s-video (out ) of the converter to the tv/lcd..

Mike, I feel your pain. Just something to try. In the video settings, switch the primary/secondary display. See if this changes anything. Also, try switching the position of the display to the left/right. Don't ask me why this sometimes works, I just have had success with it in the past.
