How Embarassing!

Have a gig tomorrow!Downloaded 4.07 a couple of days ago.Played a song and it crashed. After every played song in Man/Auto mode it crashed.I havenīt even had a chance to test anything else.ARE YOU SERIOUS?.Who is testing Hoster?.Canīt even play a song to the end in which direction are you guys going.Getting very tedious having to depend on 3.40 still. Are we expected to buy any more versions of Hoster? You are not selling yourselves very well any more!.Why donīt you just stick with 3.40 and spruce it up a little,at least it works :-(

John,
4.07 was a bad release. Go to http://mtu.com and get a copy of 4.08. It's a solid release.

First, in my 40 years of product development, most of it involving software, I have never, NEVER ONCE had a beta release work, and then when we build the final release NOT CHANGING ONE LINE OF CODE, 2 code lines disappeared in the final object code build.

Second, as President the buck stops with me as I made the decision to release. We will slow down and do that final test before we release. I cannot tell you how sorry I am that 4.07 didn't work. However, as I stated, from 40 years of experience, I have never seen this before. I want to make sure that EVERYONE understand I do not blame my staff for this.

We spent 3 days testing 4.08, and did test the final release code. However, I would be remiss if I didn't add that ALL software ALWAYS has some bugs. If any more are reported, we'll jump on them instantly and get a fix out as we have for 40 years.

If I remember correctly, Vista, (which is causing most of MTU's problems) has a couple hundred problems. Keep up the great work folks. I wouldn't run a show with any other software. I will use my dinosaur CD's first.
