Thanks to you all for your advice, ordered DELL XPS with Vista Ultimate with XP Downgrade, cost a bomb and there is no going back so no more replies saying what i could have had please.

In a majority of systems you can see 3.2GB. Next time try Delloutlet, they have fine refurbished systems for reasonable prices..and a one year warranty. I just bought a Dell Latitude E5500 to replace my Dell Inspiron E1505. It came with the XP downgrade loaded with 4GB.
