Hi ddouglass I like access too and find it helps me clean up hoster database issues quickly. As for the hoster song book I don't use it at all. Main reason not setup to print by Disc ID only by book ID When singers want a song in SoundChoice or ChartBuster ver. they like to see it listed in the book that way SC2535-05 CB90045-09, mush easier to remember then Book ID 11205939 or 396943824. I use Music Book Dlx find it very useful, accurate and easy to use takes care of dup's and has many features not availible in other song book programs. Would be nice if Hoster would allow other database to be used for import. Joe.... |

Joe, when was the last time you looked at the Songbook Creator. You can have it use either the BookID or the DiskID. You might want to check it out.

Started with KJPro, when I got hoster I went with it. I found it to be for me not the right thing. Went back to KJPro.
I am numberless, and do not list brand id. Double col, and no numbers does make my books smaller and faster to locate for folks looking.

Hi ddouglass Question: If you make a change to the songs in edit song under tools and save it does this get reversed if you rebuild your song database? Joe..... |

No. The edit songs dialog changes the KMA header information so it stays with the file. The only thing that is not persistent at present is the "Hide in Songbook" selection. MTU is working on that though.

Joe that was in February before the 4.08 release. 4.08 now saves the "Hide in Songbook" as well now.
