For all of you, if you get an error message like this where it lists a DLL or any other file along with Hoster in the error message, then Google that file name and you should be able to find out what program it belongs to. Hoster uses Windows Media Player and Internet Explorer along with a host of other Windows files.
Also, when you start a thread with a problem like this be sure to include what the error message says along with what happened, your operating system, version of Hoster, and anything else that you think may be pertinent. This will help us to be able to pin-point your problem and help you get it fixed faster.

To tell you the truth, i just hate "Vista"...i'll take my old XP anytime. Now, back in the days of old, my windows 98, and millenium worked better then either one of the new ones... George

I will never even consider the use of vista. Am fortunate i guess to have three laptops and a shuttle, all fairly new, and all XP.

Beavis is correct that Vista already has WMP version 11. Thomas's problem was not necessarily that he had the wrong version as Hoster will work with any version from 9 up. His problem appears to have been a corrupted or bad DLL file that he corrected by upgrading. If he still had version 9 this was the only way he could have as Microsoft doesn't have 9 available for download any more.
