Good article Mark. As usual Microsoft continues to shoot themselves in the foot. When NT came out I couldn't wait to upgrade and get away from 98. When 2000 came out it was the same thing. Again with XP, but not until after the first SP. With Vista I still won't touch it. We'll see what Windows 7 looks like and how it acts when it comes out.

Years ago at the TV staion I worked for, I installed windows 2000 on one machine and had nothing but problems, I was to scared to use ME. Did you find 2000 to be stable Dale?

Used it for a number of years on USAF network on several thousand computers with no major problems. Then we went to NT which was even better.
