Dale,

I was test playing a song and the lyrics were too fast. Removed 2.0 SP and it straightened that song out and I thought I was a genius! Last night at a show I had another song that the lyrics outran the music. It only seems to be certain songs. Heard of that?

Can you pin it down to a brand?
What type of files are they (CDG, ZIP, MP3+G)?
Usually if it is Hoster (or your computer) causing it then it would effect all of them. Could be a miss timed song file.

It doesn't matter which file type. Removing microsoft.net 2 didn't help either. It seems like this happens when I have the singers db window open.

Lyrics out of Sync

Hi got a problem but only with certain brands the lyrics are out of sync in 4.06
with music maestro and pioneer cdg series the sunfly and legends etc are all fine any ideas anyone

Hey mgrow...having same issue with my 4.06. I run mostly SoundChoice & Chartbuster files, but the syncing is still sporadic....some are perfct, others have like a second or two delay behind the music and it isn't back to back.

lyric sync 4.06

yeah got the same prob and I know I have enough memory 4gb and video card is NVIDIA GeForce 9300M GS with GDDR3 SDRAM - 256 MB dedicated memory so just cant work out what the problem is changed all the settings gone over them 3 times to make sure as well

I've rad through all the posts concerning the syncing issue and they juwt having figured it out yet. Many different platforms being used and many have this issue. I run all my files from an external 500G harddrvie, so its not a memory or resource thing. Hopefully, they'll get it fixed in the next upgrade. Personally, I'm looking forward to the update that allows you to speed up or slow down the play. The pitch changer is a hoot.

Do you have singers with a long list of songs in the database? There has been a refresh problem with that and that may be what is causing your sync loss. They did come up with a possible fix for the slow refresh, but haven't implemented it yet in the beta we are currently testing, so don't know yet if it is a fix.
Meanwhile, try minimizing it when you are not using it.

no, no long list of singers in database this has happened on the just the music maestro and pioneer cdg series of discs but not on the sunfly or legends series and to me that is very strange have double and treble checked the settings etc and all is as should be

I was directing my question to Rontoo as noted by the quote. His are not brand or type specific. I myself do have several Music Maestro and they all work fine and in sync. Don't believe I have any Pioneer.

I have played several Pioneer as well as Music Maestro & they are working for me, even if I open & close the Singer's Database window repeated with the Search window still open.
