Thank U Billyo. Yes I Did Upgrade But I Don't Remember If After Or Before Installing 4.06. If I Uninstall Hoster To Follow The Appropriate Steps Of Window Upgrade, Will I Lose My Imported Songs Or Not?
I Also Tried Changing The Player Too.
Billyo I Also Have Noticed That Only Happens With The Khpro Files Imported From The Hd. The Files Imported From Cd+g They Are Playedback Very Good. No Problem At All.

We have seen nothing but problems with integrated graphics. It seems Hoster just does not like sharing video memory. I don't know what to tell people anymore. MTU recommends 32mb of DEDICATED memory for graphics. I would recommend 128mb.

i dont think you'll lose your kma files, but i would recommend to have all your imported files to an ext. drive just in case, you should do all the custom updates and all the necessary vista changes before you install hoster back, songs imported from a hardrive would /should be converted to kma files, i'm not sure, since i havent tried importing songs from a hardrive, i always import songs from a cdg's..i am not sure if i have the solutions for your, i am merely just trying to give some recommendations.

Thank U Billy'o. U Were Right. I Didn't Make All The Vista Changes Before Installing Hoster. I Uninstalled Hoster, Made The Changes In Vista And Is Running Good Now.

Why do people keep suggesting this as a solution? Microsoft is abandoning further support or updates of XP as early as June of 2009.

Hey Deeter,
XP is a stable operating system like Windows 98. I know folks (not Hoster users ) who still use Windows 98. Some businesses I know of still use DOS, YUK BUT IT'S STABLE.

Vista is soon to join the ranks of Windows 2000 and Windows Me as operating systems that were never stable and were dropped by the public. When we get a good OS, we hang on to it. Let's pray that Windows 7 which should be out next year is stable.

This is my take on it.

i dont think he's suggesting that, you may read it that way, but the fact is hoster runs better with xp without all the problems and dont have to do a lot of changes just needed some custom updates, not like vista

And Microsoft will soon be abandoning Vista Support after they release another service pack for it to make it run more like XP. Then when they release Windows 7 (yet another new OS) early next year they will abandon Vista. As long as the Department of Defense and large companies hang on to XP which many are doing, Microsoft will have to continue supporting it. What they say and what they do are two different things. Both Dell and HP still sell XP in there business sections.
Of course Microsoft also said they were abandoning support and you would not be able to buy XP after June of 2008 and obviously that didn't happen either.

i work for the local govt and they just bought hundreds of dell latitude laptops for us to use in our vehicles and they specifically ordered them with xp os..so i dont think xp is going away for good

Deeter, you are listening to the market hype that Microsoft wants you to hear. The fact of the matter is they will follow what the market demands. For example, I had to drag out an old machine for a project that required a floppy drive, bi-directional printer port, and Win98. This was just a couple of weeks ago. When I got online to download the software, I got windows updates pushed to me even though they "stopped supporting" Win98 July 11th 2006. That date was even considered "extended support" that only included critical bug fixes. So with that as a measure of when they actually stop support, I would assume we should be good until sometime in 2012. I would hope that we could get a decent replacement operating system by then.

From what I had understood from sources (reliable - who knows, but lets just say they come from Renton, WA where they work) is XP would be supported until around 2014.

You can still buy new PCs and use Windows XP. Windows Vista Business and Windows Vista Ultimate have downgrade rights that let you return your operating system to Windows XP. We plan to provide support for Windows XP until 2014.
