Do you have the following folders;
C:\WINDOWS\$NtUninstallwmp11$
and
C:\WINDOWS\$NtUninstallWMFDist11$

Nope.neither file.going to download it again and then try to delete it...

Don't think that will work. Do you have another machine with wmp 11 loaded on it. If so, see if they have either of these two directories. If so you can copy to the machine which is without... If you can't find them let me know and I will put a copy someplace where you can download it.

Glen,
Go to http://forum.themuzikman.com Select "temp dirs for wmp11", download the zip file. The zip file contains both directories, copy them to your Windows dir.
Go to start, run and type

C:\WINDOWS\$NtUninstallwmp11$\spuninst\spuninst.exe

after the rollback is complete… a restart might be required… then afterwards run

C:\WINDOWS\$NtUninstallWMFDist11$\spuninst\spuninst.exe
again a restart may be required.

Once the roll back is complete delete the following;
C:\WINDOWS\$NtUninstallwmp11$
and
C:\WINDOWS\$NtUninstallWMFDist11$

This should roll you back to 9
