Another way, see if you can burn you mpeg(laserdisc) as vcd standard in a disk then ripped it using isobuster which will give you a true mpeg standard for vcd.
If it won't let you burn these files to a vcd and says your does not conform for vcd standard then you hace to re-encode your files to conform vcd standard
