Error 3315 question?
If I read everything correctly, 4.04 FIXED the 3315 error. However, I noticed the following:
When I installed 4.03 I received Error 3315 on 8 files and then gave me the total number of files added to the database. I viewed the mdb looking for the files that showed errors, but I couldn't find a problem. May be a coincidence - but, when I upgraded to 4.04, the total number of files is exactly 8 files short of the number of songs I have. So, even though I did not receive any errors, I believe those files are not included. Any ideas? ![]() |

Thanks Jim. Yes, that's what I did when 4.03 gave me the Error 3315 message. I tried finding the songs that was errored on right then, but could not figure out which ones they were. I "compared" databases also, but that brought up a lot more songs besides those 8, so it still didn't help me figure out which 8 files had the "0-string" message. Error 3315 was FIXED in 4.04, so I didn't get any error messages.

Sky,
I am sorry I'm not more help here. Search the forum for "3315 error". I've never had to do any of this and I don't want to give you guesses. Others will help when they get the time I'm sure. ![]() Jim ![]()

Thanks again, Jim. I read all the 3315 errors people reported with 4.03. That's why Admin fixed 3315 in 4.04. My question now was really just about how 4.04 may have read/interpreted these same files.

I understand what you are saying. The problem is that I was unable to figure out which files are corrupt. When I got the message, I went to the song indicated by the number it stopped on (checking the one before & after also) and those files were still in the database & still played. So ..... I am left with a mystery!!!!!
