If it still doesn't boot up sithout the "mybook drive" connected, then yes you're having a "puter" problem. You could have any one of a number of problems, which takes time to go through them one by one. Admin really only has the time to help you with "Hoster" problems, unless this is an MTU computer you're having problems with.

Also Not A Hoster Problem
When I select the Hoster icon on the desktop, Hoster starts. I get the singers and preview screen and that's all. The desktop shows except for the 2 screens. Hoster is in the toolbar on the bottom.
When I right click on the Hoster tab in the toolbar and select maximixe everything is normal.
I uninstalled Hoster and reinstalled it and the samething happens.
How can I fix this?

Jim, hopefully Dale will read & respond to your questions. He is also a Beta tester with a better understanding of these kinds of problems.

Right click the desktop icon, go to properties, find the line labeled Run,
change it to normal window, instead of minimized. Should be good to go.

You beat me to it. I am currently on vacation in Eureka Springs, Arkansas sitting out the rain from Gustav in a cottage. Sure has ruined our plans.

Too far. We didn't know when we planned this a few weeks back that Gustav was going to follow us up here. Oh well it is supposed to clear on out tomorrow so hopefully we can get back to sightseeing.
