Sky, please ignore our dearly respected Dale D. You do NOT need to see this file header, and... there could be characters that Notepad will not show, because it can not display them.
Please attach your file for us to evaluate with our Development tools. Thank you. |

The only way I can add the file (so you can see it) is if I re-build, again! As I said in a previous post, the first time I did a re-build after I upgraded to 4.03 the first time, I got the 3315 errors, as well as the dupIDs telling me to look at the "BuildSongsDBlog.txt". I did NOT get this message the second time I re-built. I really don't want to do it a third time, just to figure out what 3315 means on only 8 files.
Would still like a response to my Thread "BuildSongsDBlog.txt-Wrong". I am trying to understand how things work, so maybe I can figure out some of this myself without having to Post everytime I have a problem. Last edited by Skybird74; August 25th, 2008 at 10:43 AM. |

This is how I would do it. Open your songs.mdb (C:\MTU\Hoster) file in Microsoft Acess and count down to file #2899. Take the DiscID and follow it with the track number, (put a "0" in front of single numbers ![]() ![]() Jim ![]()

Will any other program read this file?
Microsoft Office & Access are both expensive programs that I never had a need for before, so I did not purchase them. What comes free with new computers is generally only good for 90 days. |

I guess this would be the poor man"s (or woman's) way to do it.
![]() Go to Start> My Computer> "Folder where your KMA flies are located" and count down the list of files till you get to file #2899. Now that you know which file it is, try to run in Hoster. If it plays okay, you got the wrong file. If it makes Hoster do things against it's will, you found your bad file. Once you find it, delete through the Edit Songs section and re-import it. I'm not aware of a free program that will read the sonsgs.mdb. If you don't feel like counting, wait and see if anybody else know of one. ![]() Jim ![]()
