Run through it again and note what record numbers it stops on. Then you will need to open the Songs.mdb in Access so you can find those records anf figure out which diskid and track they are so you can re-import them. The files are corrupt and that is why you got the error message.

Dale, when you get a chance, please read what I wrote under: "BuildSongDBlog.txt-Wrong"
When I rebuilt the database the second time (after removing all .mdb files) I did NOT get the same errors, plus it said I had 13 files less to start with. The first time it only gave me 8 of those 3315 errors (just in case that had something to do with it.) The numbers just don't jive. ![]() |

I been getting this for over a year (3315)
there is nothing wrong with files, they play perfect. when i remove those files, it just gives me that message with different files. seems to be, if you have a lot of songs, hoster can't read them and gives that message. so i just keep clicking no for help till it finish rebuilding. same problem with microstudio???

It appears we may have a problem related to this 3315 error message. We thought it was fixed in 3.318, but maybe not.
We'll look at it tomorrow (Monday). |

As I read it, Bob says the files he got the 3315 error on "are there" and "play fine".
Dale said "those files are not added to the database". Admin - who is right? And what exactly does Field "Songs Mfg Name" cannot be zero-length mean? And why are the number of songs Hoster says I started with with be different on 2 different installs? Files don't just disappear ![]() |

2. Uh... ok. 3. Beats me! Your system has nothing to do what their data... just my assessment of what I can see facts with at 12:31AM. ![]() 4. There is a field in every KMA file header named "Mfg name". It must have something in it, i.e. non-zero data. Please attach one of your files that fails with this error. We need to analyze its KMA Header to insure what is causing this error. 5. "with with" is confusing. If there is a bug, don't ask why, ask can we find and fix it. Answering "whys" only complicates the matter, and do not solve the problem. You want to run Karaoke shows. We need facts (one of your bad files will suffice) so we can fix your problem. That's it. ![]() |

If you can figure out exactly what one of the files is (DiskID-Track) then you can open it in Notepad (takes a little bit to open but it will). The top area is the Header and you will see that information is missing the Brand (Mfg Name) is missing and may be missing more than that. You can figure out which record if you have Access as stated in my post #2.
As Admin said there appears to be a bug that they thought they had fixed a while back and they will look at it, but that won't bring back those files for you. I don't know what Bob is doing to his files to fix it so they add in but I had to re-import mine. When this happened mine did the same as yours. I had the same number of files in my folders on two computers yet my total songs on rebuild was off by 10.
