I found the record by accident. I have an external mini hard drive. I inadvertently ran the process without the hard drive attached. I don't remember what the message said (different from the bad zip files from before) but it did identify the record. I fixed the record and now I'm OK.

I still think this is a wierd problem, but if anybody has this same problem and has an external hard drive maybe that could be their solution.
