How do you store singer names in 4.xx?

I think it is great feature to be able to save singer's songs so when they come in their favorites are there.

I have read the manual and must be missing where it says how to store them.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Bill

Click on search key.
Select song.
Type in singers name/nickname.
Click on S+ button(*) next to the Add Track button.

*This adds the singer and that song to the current playlist, and will also archive the same song to that singers playlist that you can access by clicking on the Singers button next to the Search button.

Very cool feature! I used to keep a page for my regulars in a daytimer that I would pick from, or let them take it to their table so they could compile a songlist for the night without having to locate the song and book i.d. number. Now they get the same service, and I dont have to carry the daytimer around!

This works from the main screen entry too. S+ button is to right of Add Track button or you can use Ctrl-Enter and it will do the same.

Depends on if you know the Bookid. If not then you have to search for the song.

Do you go down through your old playlists and re-add (S+) them in, or something like that. What do you manually do and from what screen(s)?

I don't keep my playlists. We always kept their slips and recently went using Excel to create full pages of their songs. We have been going through those and adding all of one singer's songs from main screen at a time. Then clean the playlist and start on the next.
