Question 4.01 Locking Up

During last night's show, I literally had to restart 4.01 after every song (well, just about every song) Is there any idea when the fix will be in place for 4.01 locking up when the song goes down to 00:00? I know many have had this problem and for myself, I've reverted to 3.4 until the problem gets fixed.

You can run Hoster 4.01 with a version of Windows Media Player other than 11 BUT it definatly runs best with WMP11.

I advise when you install WMP11 that you never open it. This may sound strange, but when you open WMP11 you have to go through a setup process which ends up taking using resources best saved for Hoster.

I do not use Windows Media Player, EVER but it has to be installed for Hoster to run correctly. Might as well install the version that makes Hoster run the best.

It appears (for now) that upgrading to Windows Media Player 11 has solved the problem! Will let you know.

Try 4.02. It's not perfect yet, but should be better. We found/fixed a number of bugs, one related to the 00:00 lockup.

Read my Factory New post this morning.
