I know all about .dlls from the old 3.1 days before Windows and "uninstall" was created.
They can cause a multitude of problems & are impossible to know which one is the culprit
I stayed up three days and three nights on that one, and took a day off from work to boot. So conflicts do happen and you may never know the cause unless you get lucky and spend a lot of time sometimes.
Been there, done that - that's why I'm reading everyone's Posts carefully before I even install 4.0. I don't have that kind of time (or patience
