Hoster Database issue

First of all your help is appreciated once again.

Finally, It actual seems like I'm finally going to use Hoster to make money - Yeah!

In the intrim, I had a collection that was outdated. I recently purchased 20 discs or so. I imported the songs as required. I moved the imported folder to the location where it should have been after importing. Now I knew that It would cause a problem when attempting to play one of the songs in that folder that I moved. So what I would like to do is delete the collection just from the program and rebuild the collection.

I have two files 1 - Original Karaoke songs and 2 - Newly Added Karaoke Songs 070208. In tring to keep songbook seperated so I don't have to reprint the entire book, I thought I would just add each folder seperately.

Is this the only thing I can do to retify the problem other than move the file back to its original location?

And what should I have done? And what do others do when they add new songs to there collection?

Michael

If you go ahead and print the new songs part of your book before doing anything else, then it should print the right ones ok.
Then rebuild the database with the one or two locations you have. This will correct it so that Hoster can find the songs.

Does the rebuild show double the count of files you have? If so then no it shouldn't have done that and if it did it should be showing all of them as duplicates.
Try deleting the Songs.mdb and Songsbackup.mdb files and build it again. That should create the correct count of entries.

Please read in the Manual about the "New Release" field in the Songbook dialog. It may do what you are looking for. It automatically keeps track of how many songs you have imported since you last printed your Songbook. We even keep up with deleted songs that are or aren't in the count after you printed.
