Hoster does not actually convert them the same way it does CDGs. MP3s are already compressed so all Hoster does is wrap a header around the exising file. Some zip files were able to play in 3.317, but the problem is there is no standard for MP3 and multiple compression levels for ziping files. This makes for a lot of combination possibilities and it was a lot of work for MTU to get most of them to work in Hoster and Microstudio.
