Okay I've got you now Paul, you are using 3.319. After you rebuilt the database you say that all of your songs show up in the songbook and they play in Hoster. Is this all of the songs you have on your hard drive or just the ones you've loaded so far?

If it is only the files you've loaded so far, try loading the rest in 99 or less at a time.

Let me know if this works, I'll be up.

Jim

All the songs that i had previously imported as kma files, prior to upgrading to 3319 are in my data base (3319 makes you rebuild th data base). Songs that i still want to import that zip files are the problem. evertime i try to import this zip files into mtu i get the before mentioned error.

Rebuilding the database is NOT causing your problem.

If you have tried to import the files in batches of 99 or less at a time and you still get the error, try "re-zipping" your zip files.

Look at post #7 on the page:

http://forum.mtu.com/showthread.php?t=8552

I'm sorry if this doesn't work but I have never had the problem you are describing in this thread (post).

Just trying to help!

Jim

Paul,

Would you mind taking a screen shot of the error message and posting it here? Forgive me if you already know how to do this, but the easiest way is to wait for the message to appear, then press "Alt-Ctrl-Prnt Scrn" in sequence. Then go into MS Paint and paste into a new image. Save this as a .bmp file and attach it to a post here.

Thanks!

Paul, Is this problem occurring with only one, two, or a small number of Zip files? Or is this happening for all Zip files? Thanks.

Paul,
Open Windows Explorer.
Go to C:\Documents and Settings\Paul\Local Settings\Temp\MTU_Hoster
You should see the file Temphdzip.mp3 and Delete this file.
If you don't see the file look up at top of window and click on Tools/Folder Options then click on View at the top of that window.
Check the box to "Show Hidden Files and Folders" and uncheck the boxes for "Hide extensions for known file types" and "Hide protected operating system files" Click OK on the question that pops up. Then click OK on the window to close it.
You should now see the file and be able to delete it.
