I had this big long post written out and then it hit me you said the bars computer is Vista.

Dollars to donuts this is the issue.
Assuming yours works like mine. Navigate to the location listed by admin, you'll probably see the bucket.mdb and the new songs.mdb you copied back. Right above those listings you'll see a button marked "compatability files". Click on that and voila there you should see the old songs.mdb that Hoster is still accesing. Just copy the new songs.mdb into this location and it should start working for you .

With Vista anytime you can't find something or something doesn't behave as expected it's usually because of the "compatbility file" thing.

And if this isn't it post back and we'll try something else.
