I have an A105 S2236. Almost the same specs. Same amount of memory. I could never get it to stop the dropouts when using Vista. I changed to Windows XP and the problem is gone. Good luck with Vista. I think it is a good operating system for high end equipment with lots of memory. Just not for a low end laptop like this.
