you need to open the program in order to use the software.

im sure you know how to do it because you imported the cdg's in order to create a songbook.

just open the program and put type the book id of the song you want to play then put the singers name in, hit enter then select it from the box below and hit play !

theres a lot more to running a show than importing and playing the song, you need to set up your computer to dual display plus get the sound out to a amp and so on.........

how far along are you ??

Thanks Sam and Beavis

I was up till 'bout 1:30 this morning playing, and I think I'm getting close to understanding how to get around in this. Beavis, to answer your question, I think I've about got most of the basics. The hardest part is trying to remember how I got where I am, or back where I was. This Karaoke thing started as a cheap all-in-one player set up in the barn, after riding someone would say 'lets sing'(after a couple cold whatevers). Over the last couple of years we've up graded, and the box that holds everything is so heavy, I thought 'there's got to be an easier way', and I think with help from guys like you, it will be great!
Thanks again Larry
