Blank Brand & DiscId windows

I'm trying to load some new disc's I just got, but when I click "Import Songs"..
insert the disc [drive IS recognized.. and storage path selected]
both the Brand & DiscId dropdown windows are empty.

The Disc did load. with the proper songs, but When I tried to type in the info..[i.e.- PopHitsNashville/ Phn0705] I get an Error Report message and the program shuts down?

you need to type in the info in the artist and title field, or use the freedb.

Most likely your bucket database file (Bucket.mdb) is missing or corrupt. Your best bet would be to re-install Hoster using the repair/upgrade option. This should reload that file (along with others) and not require re-registering with MTU.

Thank you ddouglas... that makes sense.
would that require a new database sort, afterwards?

No, because that is a separate database file (songs.mdb) and that doesn't get changed or removed when you reload.
