One thing I noticed was that I could have a crap disc, but if read it fast enough you will get a good copy. You will also need to get a can of duster (air in a can) and blow out your burner every hundred or so, you will notice some difference after your first four or five hundred burns.
Glad it all worked for you, Sony and Fuji discs work very well for me, FYI
