I'm not a techie but this is stuff I would try first if I were in your situation.
Was this both computers or just one of them? Try checking the event viewer and see if it shows something else going on (besides the Hoster crash). Also try running with the taskmanager open and see what the processes are up to at the time of the crash. After trying an uninstal/reinstal you might also try one of your earlier versions. It's possible it's some kind of conflict between this version(3.313?) and his particular computer. It happens Sam

Lonman which version of Hoster did you try? Remember 3.12 & 3.13 both have some graphics problems on some computers.
Check to make sure Roxio, Nero and Soundblaster programs are in startup or in the registry "Run" Also make sure autorun is turned off.

Lonman, where does this problem stand? Do you think it is a bug, or system related?

Not sure if it was just a glitch. May have been a bad import as my Dad said it only happened with the one song that he tried - but it did play perfectly using the Microstudio player. So far the rest of them seem to be working fine he said.
