Did you try that suggestion, and/or restoring to a time when things were working just in case there was a glitch in your settings?

ATI card at Walmart... Will NVidea work???

I will try that tonight...

1. Check settings and try again
2. Try to run EXT Mon out of the S-Video port and convert it to RCA that way... (I was using the RCA port on the video card)
3. Try going back to a date that it worked fine (Restore system settings)
4. Buy a new Video card... Any suggestions on what will work well... I have a Walmart only a few miles away...

Wallmart carries this...

I would like to get one with a RCA port on it already (like I had) but I'll have to buy a converter to use it... My worry is that it is a system problem and not a video card issue... No more os disc (it broke) so I can't re due it... I am worried about tonight's gig to say the least...

Will the PCI sound card fit in a 2004 sony Vio desktop??? I'm not really familiar with this PCI or not issue??? I don't really know the difference...

Rip

Short for Peripheral Component Interconnect, a local bus standard developed by Intel Corporation. Most modern PCs include a PCI bus in addition to a more general ISA expansion bus. PCI is also used on newer versions of the Macintosh computer.
PCI is a 64-bit bus, though it is usually implemented as a 32-bit bus. It can run at clock speeds of 33 or 66 MHz. At 32 bits and 33 MHz, it yields a throughput rate of 133 MBps. Also see PCI-X and PCI Express.

Yes as long as you have an open slot. Not that familiar with the brand, but any desktop produced in the last several years will have PCI slots (I can hear the dings coming now...sigh, but generally speaking this is true.) Some have more than others though.

As far as the card from Walmart the catalog page you linked says it is online only (may just be my location) so I would definately call to make sure they have it in stock at your store.

I take it the S-video cable you have isn't S-video to RCA? Not sure if Wally World has one but I know Radio Shack does.

Worked fine last night...

The problem is spiratic... This sucks... Although it worked fine for last night... Show was a great success! (Gee I love Hoster) I'm going to wait till it doesn't work and go from there to try and figure the cause out... Thanks for all the ideas from everyone... This forum is a great place for info... One other questions though...

I believe I had updated my hoster to 3.312 or 13.. However when I'm in hoster and I check the level it says 3.303... Could it be updated and not give me the correct level on that screen?
