Microstudio 3.000 is capable (with the right drive and DVDR discs) of backing up Super CDG discs. However... when we tried to make a SCDG backup, it read the image in, and wrote it out but failed to finalize the disc. Thus, it was not useable.
We are 98% sure what is the reason and it is under our control. We will be releasing a 3.001 version later this month, and backing up SCDG discs should be working in that release.
