I moved and renamed this to indicate the real Topic subject.

I don't have any better answer than Dale offered.

When we opened Hoster up to use MANY drives, we also realized this type of problem will occur. We're trying to add some form of "graceful handling" of a drive problem so Hoster won't crash.

Identifying what is happening with this drive would be difficult.
