Yes, autorun is off. I just installed upgrades for both drives this morning. Same thing.

If memory serves me right. Max read speed on my drives is 4X. The new software only offers speed down to 6X. Could that be the problem?

How Long are you waiting? I have had some clients with older drives just tell me that they have to wait about 30 seconds with these old drives, or it acts like it is hung.
