Hey Charlie, I would suggest taking a look in the forum for CD drives. Make sure that the Yamaha drive you have is listed in the MTU approved drive list. They've done extensive testing and can recommend which drives work the best. That's a good place to start. Then, re-read some of the other problems encountered with Microstudio. Maybe someone has had the same issues.
