Mrmacjr,
I have searched your Access database that you emailed me, for this DiscID cb60351 there is no disc in this database with this ID. There is no way that the database that you emailed me can show this disc under brand. I have looked for it under Brand and its not there. I also went directly into the database through access and can't find it. Are you sure you sent me the correct file, and you haven't rebuilt this with other directories of songs, that weren't in this database that you emailed to me? The raw data is just not there, in this songs.mdb.

Search not finding all songs
At this point I deleted all the kma's, reimported from a different computer, deleted songs.mdb and song backup. then rebuilt the database. Still same problem then rebuilt database for second time. this time it showed two duplicate bookid #'s. I did not merge. I could then find the songs in the search function. So right now I have no idea what two songs are duplicate book id#'s but at least the other 15,700+ will work. I am getting ready to head out of town so I can take with as a backup. I will wait to see what happens the next time I add some discs next week and will use the merge command to get rid of the two duplicate id's.
thanks for all the help. Don't know what happened or why I just hope it does not pop up again. Mrmacjr |
