no sound or words

I have the trial verson of hoster and I can not get anything but clicking. I have a Disney Karaoke disk downloades and when I try to play it all I get is clicks and no lericks. If i can prove that this workes in my computer I will by it but I dont buy what I cannot work as a trial.
