The Sony DVD RW DRU 710A now works every bit as well as my Plextors, and never did before 3.300. Just got through importing, playing, and adding a CDG track while playing with no glitches what so ever.

The USE SOFTWARE DECODING block must be checked however, and unchecked for the Plextors.

Thanks for the input George. however, I've tried with software decoding checked and unchecked, and I get the same result, Hoster crashes while converting the file to KMA, and then I have to restart. Guess I'll just stick with my hand plextor until it gets sorted out. i was looking forward to not having to depend on an external rive and just use my laptop.
