I use a Plextor 761A.
I have SC8115, which is a Multisession 15 Trk Disc. With Hoster Open to CD Import window, I insert Sc8115, Select DiscID, and Click ADD TRKS FOR IMPORT. Multisession turns RED and all Trks get added to the List Box. If I were you, I would try this: Uninstall Hoster Delete the HOSTER "DEFAULT" REG Key at: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Micro Technology Unlimited\Hoster\Default as per these MTU instructions at this MTU site: http://www.mtu.com/support/faq/faq-h...#DeleteRegKeys Reinstall Hoster Re-BOOT Open HOSTER Re-enter your Songs Destination Folder in the CD Import Window Try the SC8115 Disc Import again. Be sure to re-set you personal preferences, such as, SND, Singer's Display, etc. Norm |

New Version 3.300 problems reading all tracks
When I got back home I tried to import disc Sound Choice 8115 again. Still the same problem. What really floored me is on close inspection of the disc I saw the tiny Mediacloq emblem. The surprising thing is that it did read and copy most of the tracks (except 15) on the prior version of Hoster. I know Mediacloq is different than just multisession and won't usually be read by a computer. This was probably a reissue of this early disc when Sound Choice was using Mediacloq. I cant blame Hoster for this.I have about 10 Mediacloq's in my collection but didn't catch this one and none of them are entered into my computer with this the exception. However my disc #SC8459 mentions nothing about any Mediacloq and Hoster 3.300 will only read the first 11 of the 15 tracks available. I have already imported 14 out of the 15 songs on this disc on the previous version of Hoster. Track 15 doesn't even come up. Microstudio does reads all the tracks. As Hoster 3.300 has worked great capturing the last track on all my other multisession discs I am going to leave it alone until I get through with the rest of my collection. This problem may be isolated to a few discs and not the norm and will watch the forums to see if it is a larger problem.

I have used a freeware program to rip mediacloq protected Sound Choice cdg's. It is called Audiograbber. It will rip files to bin, cdg + wav & cdg + compressed file (whatever external mp3 compressor you install to use with it). I rip the files to .bin files burn a copy of the disc and load into Hoster. The only problem is it may take two hours to read and rip the files (I use a Plextor Premium drive).

![]() I would like to add that while developing and testing our new MMC drive interface code, we have discovered there are some VERY BAD master tracks on CDG commercial discs. Chartbuster is by far the worst. Their error rate, which we can see with MMC testing, is apalling. ![]() Audiograbber also uses MMC. When we tested our MMC against theirs using the same discs and DVDR drive, we discovered our Hoster 3.300 imported files had noticeably fewer random color changed dots in the characters and background. Our MMC code currently appears to be superior to theirs. ![]() |

I was referring to the process of attempting to import or backup a CD+G with Mediacloq protection. That is the only instance that I use Audiograbber. It does go quite slow with ripping with Audiograbber but only on Mediacloq protected discs. Any other software will not read these discs. If I am processing any other discs I use MTU products.
