Have Mac with Virtual PC - should I try Hoster on it?

I have a Mac laptop that I would like to run Hoster on. I bought the Virtual PC program to try and run it. I downloaded the demo, and while I can open the Hoster program on it, the demo wold not let me play anything on it. I don't know whether that is the fault of the demo (and could be corrected with a full copy of Hoster), or whether Hoster just won't play songs on a Mac, period.

I'd sure like to know, because I'd buy Hoster now if I could use it. However, if I bought it and it would not work, I'd be unhappy about that.

thanks in advance, Alicia
