Using the lower lines of the four provided, I've found that during fast songs, the screen repaints faster.

Also, using as many lines as you need...don't try to cram too much info into four lines!! One, two or three words are very easy to follow and again, the screen repaints quickly. Any more than that, the singers get lost.
