For anyone, not understanding what this is referring to, here is the FAQ that explains how to use this: http://www.mtu.com/support/faq/faq-website.htm
This way I will not get alot of emails on how to use it. It does work very well, once you have used it.

Didn't work for me
Quote:
At one point, I right clicked the download and, clicked Save and Replace Previous Version With New Version, and now, I have lost the 3.110 Version. My Hoster Icon has changed from the normal Icon to white box with a blue border at the top, like this Window's page, only blank. When I try to open it,it says that This is not a Winn 32 application. So I can't open it. Can someone tell me what I should do? Should I uninstall what I have now and try it again? I was told in a previous thread that I didn't have to uninstall my older version. Thank you for your time, Jack |

Are you using a browser other than Internet Explorer to download?
MTU products are designed to download with Internet Explorer, and other systems(Netscape, etc) can cause the error message you're getting. George |

I did a search on Hoster and it shows that I have the 3.120 version but like I said, after clicking the Icon, it says that Hoster .exe is not a valid Winn32 application. ?????? I don't know if this means anything, but I reinstalled the Hoster Demo and it opens just fine. And it has the normal jukebox, icon. Thanks George, for all your help. Do you or your server user a download accellerator program?
If you don't have one installed, then it may be your server. We know AOL has one installed that has caused download problems. If that's the case, you may need to contact them and find out how to shut it off. George |
