Question Hoster 2.219 isn't recognizing Plextor ext. cd drive

I'm really at a loss for solutions here; I've just purchased a Plextor PX-716UF/SW that the Plextor company assures me is the right product with which to make copies of cdg's onto an external hard drive. When I get to the point where I hit "Read CD Tracks" in the "Import Tracks" section of Hoster, nothing, and I mean nothing happens. It's like the program--or my laptop--doesn't see that the component (Plextor) is there, yet it's identified properly when I open "My Computer" to check that it really is there. Help!!! Frustrated in Florida!!!

My guess would be that, that drive is newer than that version of Hoster. I don't think that drive was supported until 3.06. http://mtu.com/support/hoster-versions.htm
