This is a bug that is in the software. The beta testers have just found this over the weekend. The engineer should be working to fix this in the coming days, and then when Hoster 3.200 is stable enough to be released this will be in the new version.

As for right now, there is no way to fix this currently.

Thanks to God you guys found the bug. I have been having this problem from since I bought Hoster in January 2005. I thought it was something with my pc. I uninstalled and installed many times. So I waited for the latest update but when I installed it, I had the same problems with files that I edited. They wouldn't play. I was so frustrated that I just reformatted my computer and took my time doing so, not to find that the problem was still there. I was so pissed off that I couldn't figure out what was the problem. Anyway I just got the email from MTU today about the two critical bugs found on Hoster. What a bloody relief. Anyway phew! one question for the moderator. With Hoster 3.2, All my songs that I have edited and will not play because of the bug will now play well with the upgrade?

If you've had this problem since January, you must have a completely different problem because it was April when importing from HD became possible, and those are the only files affected.

Sorry guys I meant to say that I bought MTU Hoster Laptop January. I started having the problems after April. Sorry about that. Thanks for the reply.

Any songs that you have Edited MUST be deleted, there is no way to fix them. The only thing you could then do is Reimport them from the HD as .mp3g or .zip files as you did at first.

Okay, another question. I have hundreds of songs that I have edited, but I have not rebuilt the database with those edited songs. Will the new Hoster recognized them and will they play normally? Really don't want to reimport all those songs again. Thanks guys. and sorry if this is a stupid question.

Iv;e been playing around with a hex editor is there anyway it could be fixed useing HEX ,Which line in the table is it that makes it CDCDG I might be talking out of my hat but it cost cost nothing to try thanks a lot
