billyo,

I did not think you had bad equipment.

I just disagreed with the comment "if you have it full tilt, you will get noise" comment. Which I think was a mistake. There are so many causes for noise that it can be hard to figure out. I think zzeliminator states it well with the steps to take to figure it out.

Just start with a know piece of equipment at a known location that does not have noise. Plug everything in one at a time until you can figure it out.

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Mike.

Bob,
Normally the 3 prong to 2 will take out any noise, as I get the same on my Laptop, this is the only way for me to kill all of the noise.

I have tried the more expensive noise Remover plug, that is about $70+ and it did not work for my system at all, It made no difference.

Question

hey guys, i already have all kinds of adapters , hum ellliminators, noise suppressors, and i just bought from radio schack a noise elliminators, it supposed to reduced or elliminate any kind of noise coming from any elect. outlets..it reduces the noise a lot.you now have to actually stick your ears near the speakers to hear the hizz/buzz even if i had the gain up.on my mics, and channel inputs for my sound card. and master vol.and of course im only using the sr450,sim not sure how will it sound if we have to use the bigger mackie speakers.. not sure which one of the gadgets really works tho..

device from radio shack

Morning. What is the name and part number of this device, and how much is it? Are you saying that you are pluging the power cord into this device, then the device into a wall outlet? Thanks.
