The problem is that something is in your system slowing it down, which is not allowing to transfer the larger amount of data to the drive. The reason the Duplicate will give a problem is that your trying to write a file size of about 650-750mb to the drive at once. Where as when you are using the Custom Assembly, you are only sending 30-50mb per song to the drive. So this is why your Duplicate feature is not working in either program.

You might try contacting Plextor to see if they can Help you find the problem. The items that I have in my post are the only things that I know that can make a difference. You might also try updating your Motherboard drivers from the manufacturer of your motherboard.
