Backing up Hoster

Hi,

I have been using Hoster for serveral months now and I think it's great. I have been very paranoid that if the computer fails during a show I'm in big trouble. So what I've done is create a second computer identical to the first. On my priamry PC I have two hard drives, C: and D: with C: being used for programs and D: being used for song storage. I use Norton Ghost on the primary PC to make a duplicate C: and D: drive and then install them in the Backup PC. There are a few other steps involved but the end result is a complete PC that I bring to my shows as a backup and should the Primary burst into flames or just stop working correctly I can switch to my backup in about 5 to 10 minutes. I also bring a spare mouse and keyboard with me just to make sure I'm covered. It may seem a little extreme but it does provide piece of mind.

im saying, upgrade then test run it at home. if it works fine then your all set. if not revert back to a running copy.
