Actually, I did try to isolate the errant TV, and the screen is wavey by itself. Furthermore, when using the splitter and have both tv's connected at the same time, the problem tv make the good tv have problems too, though to a lesser degree. Since the Sony Viao exports it's video/sound on one composite plug, I even tried using a external USB sound card to separate the signals. It made a marginal difference, but the screen was still unusable on the problem TV.

Only one more suggestion. You might have to use a FM modulator between the antenna and TV connections. This usually comes into play automatically when a signal becomes present. It's a Rario Shack item
Have you tried that? |

Wavy Graphics Reply
Hi All
![]() I had this same problem last week my Flipoke and Bobcox sent me some good solutions to the problem. I am now using a S video cable from my Sony laptops docking station to a Radio shack amplified splitter. This runs about $45.00. It worked flawlessly and got rid of the signal degradation. Did a 4 hr show last night and had none of the wavvy lines etc which happened when trying to hook up more than one tv as singer screen. It will also allow me to hook up to 4 tv's without a loss of signal. Thanks to Bob and Flip for helping me make my shows the best they can be. ![]() John ![]() |

Thanks for the suggestion, but I already had a radio shack amplified splitter in my bag of tricks, and it had no effect on the plasma set it my situation. Thanks anyway.

Here is another gadget to consider. I have one but don't need to use it at present. Go here for details. http://www.aitech.com/mx-details.htm
They say it works on any TV. So if it don't work for you, you might be able to get your money back. |

Thanks Mike, I think I'll invest in one and give it a try, since I've tried every other option. I tried the RF converter thing saturday night, and had measurable improvement, but the sreen was still wobbly. Usable, but wobbly, at least it was better than not having a second TV.
