Unhappy Here's More Info On Database Problem

I had thousands of songs ripped at mp3+g/zip files that i wanted to create KMA's of so that i could create song books and search by artist/title/etc. When i ripped them from the cd's, all i ripped them as were ARTIST - TITLE.zip files. The only way for me to import them with the current 3.108 settings in Hoster was to go in and add a DiscID and Track number before the ARTIST - TITLE in the filename. So, I got Flash Renamer and renamed as followes:

1000 - 0001 - ARTIST - TITLE.zip

My DiscID on ALL tracks was 1000 so that i could do a batch import on Hoster. My track numbers started at 0001 and went up, 0002, 0003, etc. When I did my initial import about 3 weeks ago, all was fine. It created KMA files for each of the .zip files. Hoster BookID's started at 101 and went up. All of the files were saved on an external hard drive (F:/). Hoster pulled up the files like normal and everything worked great. Then, one day i plugged a thumb drive into my laptop without having the external hard drive on. I didn't realize it gave the thumb drive the letter F:\. Later, when i turned on my external hard drive, it gave it the letter G:\. Hoster, nor Winamp could find any of my files because both programs were directed to F:\. So I went into windows and changed the drive letter back to F:\ thinking this should solve the problem. It did for winamp, it found all of my MP3 music files, but hoster couldn't find the files in its database. I went and looked for the KMA files and all were accounted for. So i redirected Hoster to the correct folder, again, and tried to rebuild the database. It rebuilt it alright, but the only files that are there are BookID 1900 through 1999. That's not even a fourth of my files. So i deleted the database and the backup database and rebuilt again, still no luck. It only brings up 1900 - 1999, again. I have a wedding reception this coming saturday and another next saturday and I would really like to use my KMA's. I hate scrolling through trying to find the .zip files. If you need to know more, or have any questions, please let me know. Thanks!!!

I emailed you a test copy of Hoster 3.109 Beta 1 release to try.

I can't explain why your files disappeared with the drive being renumbered. I'm not sure you can renumber in Windows. I think you should remove the "thumb drive", reattach the USB HDD with your songs, then plug in your "thumb drive" again. That should give the USB drive F, and the Thumb drive G.

Post here your results with 3.109 beta 1.
