Re: Help Downoading 3.108
I always save to file so I have the copy of it. Just save it to a location that you can find and when down load is complete you can then run the program.
You could run instead of save but if you have issues and every have to reload Hoster you would not have a copy. |

Re: Help Downoading 3.108
I suggest to save it to the hard drive, and burn a cd of it with a copy of the e-mail that has the registration number and download link on it.
If you ever crash you will have a backup to reload with...... ![]() ![]()

Re: Help Downoading 3.108
I agree with gduns. I always burn it to cd with my email download link and the SN.

Re: Help Downoading 3.108
Run has also been known to cause defective downloads...not a good idea.
And do as GDUNS says when it comes to backing up. George |

Re: Help Downoading 3.108
I agree with the above posts. Always save the file to your Computer and then burn it to CD. If you do use Run, it can soemtimes cause corruption.

Re: Help Downoading 3.108
If you have Hoster 3.006 or earlier downloaded the new version downloads under the 3.108 name and will not overwrite your first download.
Just down load the file and double click to install. It will remove the old Hoster (Leaving your KMA's untouched) and install itself. You will then be able to run the new version. Any old links on you desktop will also still work with the new version. It is normally quite painless. MTU has done a good job on the install process. |

Re: Help Downoading 3.108
your computer should be trying to save it as "3108setup", if not then there must be something else going on.
I always keep a known working version on my computer just in case I have to revert to it for some reason. Hope this helps. Sam |

Re: Help Downoading 3.108
As stated above, when you download the file save it as the filename given to the Install, which is hoster3108setup.exe. Once this is downloaded on your computer, you need to go find where you saved this file. Then double click on it to run the program. It should now start the Installation. When it asks if you want to Upgrade or Remove, select Upgrade. Then click Next all the way through until you get to Finish. You should now have Hoster 3.108 installed on your system.
To check this Open Hoster, click the Help Menu\About Hoster. The version should now show 3.108.
