Do you think that your Plextor may have gone bad?
There is another thread, dated March 1, 2005, http://forum.mtu.com/showthread.php?...hlight=plextor that talks about a Plextor 708A going bad. I realize that this is not the same drive that you have but the 708A has DVD capabilities like your drive. Sometimes I think that these DVD capable drives are too sensitive as compared to non-DVD CD Drives. Just a thought, Norm
