Re: Plextor 716A-Select A Reading Device (CDROM) error message

I have done that and even though the 716 is selected for reading and writing, the "Add track to CD and Start Duplicating" buttons still give me this error, "Select a Reading Drive (CDROM)".

I have seen an error message from MTU that identifies this problem to be addressed in the next version. I just hope it is soon. Thanks.

Re: Plextor 716A-Select A Reading Device (CDROM) error message

5house,
Reset your Reading drive on these Tabs to fix this problem. Click the Down Arrow beside the Reading Drive, then left click the Plextor drive below the Listbox, then close Microstudio, to save it to the registry.

Now it will work.

Re: Plextor 716A-Select A Reading Device (CDROM) error message

It's working now. But I didn't do what you said. I just changed from CDG to CD and back and it started working. I also did what you said prior to doing what I did above and that didn't work.
Also, just to let you know I have an MSI CDROM and it recognized CDGs and read them but could not write. The graphics were also broken up here and there. It would also lock up my PC. Anyway, I have a Plextor 716 and an HP 9300. Thanks again!
