If I buy the Plextor will it work for sure?

I have been using an Hp for the past 2 years and have been very happy with it. It seems to be that Rodrigo is burning only a portion of each song as Microstudio DEmo will only do that. And he said Demo in his post. that is the only thing I'd like to test out when I get Microstudio but since I already use CDRWIN to burn my cdg's I may only be using Microstudio to test my KHproducer files before I burn a copy of it.
